Summary

  • Adds a compact flag/language pill next to the context selector in the dictation panel
  • Users can instantly switch STT language or toggle auto-detect without going into Settings
  • Shows flag emoji + language code (e.g. 🇫🇷 FR) or 🌐 Auto when auto-detect is on
  • Dropdown lists all 20 supported languages from constants

Key use case: bilingual lawyers (English/French in Canada, English/Spanish in the US) switching between matters in different languages throughout the day.

Test plan

  • Click language pill → dropdown shows all languages + Auto-detect
  • Select a language → pill updates, autoDetectLanguage set to false
  • Select Auto-detect → pill shows 🌐 Auto
  • Language change persists after closing/reopening the panel
  • npm test — 98 tests pass
