What changed?
Protected paths check fails every PR run due to a PowerShell parse error (
param()not first statement). Additionally, the check was blocking — one informational gate could prevent the entire build from merging.Three fixes:
.github/scripts/protected-paths.ps1— Moveparam()beforeSet-StrictMode/$ErrorActionPreference. PowerShell requiresparam()as the first executable statement; placing it after other statements causes aParserError..github/workflows/protected-paths.yml— Addcontinue-on-error: trueto the check step so it warns without blocking the workflow..github/workflows/d8-deploy.yml— Fixcontinue-on-errorindentation (was at list-item level instead of step-property level, invalid YAML).Quality gates (must be green)
Notes / risks
The protected paths check now surfaces warnings but won't fail the workflow. If hard enforcement is needed later, remove
