Owner correction: internal repairs go through the Anthropic account (Claude subscription via Claude Code agents), not API credits — confirmed by the live "credit balance too low" failure on the API path.

  • ai_internal_mode flag: "agent" (default) queues each "Fix this for me" repair as an ai:repair-labelled issue carrying the full spec; a Claude Code agent on the owner's subscription drains the queue — implements the fix, opens the PR. Zero API spend for internal work. "api" keeps the direct createSpecPR path for when credits exist.
  • Admin-selectable on the /admin/flags AI models card.
